Steeped in the Ulster Gaelic singing tradition, Dr. Mary McLaughlin is a veteran vocalist, songwriter, composer and song scholar. Mary records, performs and teaches workshops in singing skills, performance technique and Gaelic song and culture. She has toured extensively throughout North America, teaching and performing at Celtic / Irish camps.
She has recorded for Wyndham Hill, Sony BMG, Narada, and Hearthfire records, released seven solo albums, a songbook, and multiple collaborations and compilation albums. Having recently completed her PhD, Dr. Mary McLaughlin is returning to the studio and continues to teach, record and perform.
